I'm looking to add more storage to my PC and I currently have the Asrock B550M PRO4 motherboard. A friend mentioned that I can only install SATA drives now, but I'm not sure if that's the case. If I can't add another SSD, what are some good SATA brands? I'm specifically looking for something with 4TB or more capacity.

You can check the manual for your motherboard to see how many M.2 slots are available, or just take a look at the board itself. The Asrock B550M PRO4 actually has two M.2 slots, one for PCIe 4.0 and one for 3.0. You should be able to use NVMe drives as well, which are much faster than SATA if you can get one.
I checked some YouTube reviews, and it looks like there are three slots total, but one is specifically for Wi-Fi. So you have two for storage, which is great!
