I just built my first PC and ran a benchmark with Basemark, scoring around 2500 points initially. However, after installing various drivers and games, my score dropped to 800 points, and I'm experiencing very low FPS while gaming. I've reinstalled Windows and ensured I installed the correct drivers, even using DDU to clean and reinstall them, but my GPU still isn't performing well. I made sure my HDMI is connected to the GPU and that it's in the primary slot. My power settings are also set to performance. Here's my build:
- Motherboard: AORUS B550M ELITE
- CPU: AMD 5600X
- GPU: ZOTAC 3060ti Twin Edge OC
As a beginner, I'd really appreciate any help I can get!

There can be multiple reasons for low GPU performance. A common one is a processor bottleneck, but that doesn't seem to be your issue since the 5600X pairs well with a 3060 Ti. Make sure to check your GPU temperatures and also consider the possibility of RAM issues, although that's rare. If you have access to another GPU, test it out to see if there's a difference.
