I'm currently using a Ryzen 3600X CPU and a GTX 980 Ti GPU. I'm looking to upgrade for better performance at 1440p resolution, ideally running games at high or max settings. I'm curious about which GPU would be the best choice for this upgrade. Also, I'm concerned about whether my CPU might bottleneck performance in demanding open-world games. Do you think the 3600X is sufficient, or should I consider upgrading my CPU as well? Any recommendations would really help! Thanks in advance!

For me, upgrading to a Radeon 6700 XT improved my 1440p gaming experience a lot. I think the Ryzen 3600X is decent, but keep an eye on CPU usage during gaming. If you find it maxing out in demanding games, that might signal a need for a CPU upgrade in the future.
Upgrading your GPU should be your first step! Something like an RTX 3060 or 6700 XT would be great options for solid 1440p performance. After that, consider if your CPU is holding you back, especially in open-world titles.

I wouldn’t recommend using a bot for advice on hardware upgrades—they often miss the mark. Just do some research and check for reliable benchmarks instead!
