Hey fellow gamers! I've been playing WoW Classic and I've noticed some minor lag lately. Right now, I have an i7-13700F paired with a basic prebuilt motherboard (and, you know, those are not the best!). I've got some decent RAM and recently bought a 5070 graphics card five months ago. I'm looking for recommendations on upgrades for my motherboard, CPU, and RAM to get the best performance. I'm not too picky about having RGB on the motherboard, but I do want something that can support a newer generation i7 CPU that can be overclocked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'd recommend going for something like the 7800X3D or 9800X3D along with a B650 or B850 motherboard, plus 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM. But honestly, since you already have a 13th gen i7, it might not even be worth it to upgrade your CPU right now.

You could downgrade a bit on the CPU since you're just playing WoW Classic. The 7700X or even the 7600X should work just fine for you! Also, I recommend the TUF B650 motherboard—it's solid and not biased, I swear!
