I've been having some really strange issues with my computer lately that make me think I might be hacked. A few days ago, while listening to music on YouTube, the video randomly switched to fullscreen multiple times, and at one point, my mouse seemed to move on its own and started right-clicking. Then, it switched to another video by itself, which freaked me out, so I restarted my computer. After the restart, a bunch of command prompt windows started popping up and closing without me doing anything. I suspected it was a virus, so I reinstalled Windows and wiped all partitions. However, today when I was browsing, the mouse moved again and right-clicked on its own. I also reset my router just to be safe. Does anyone have any idea how this could still be happening even after a fresh start? I'm beginning to wonder if it could be a hardware problem, like with my touchpad, but I can't figure out how it could open commands or control videos.

It sounds like a really frustrating situation! First off, if you're using a wireless mouse, it might be worth checking if it's picking up interference from another device. I heard about someone whose mouse issues were caused by their neighbor having the same model on the same channel. Try switching to a wired mouse for a while and see if that helps!

Yeah, I'm currently using a wireless mouse, but I’ll definitely try a wired one and see if the issue still happens.
