Hey everyone! I just picked up a 9070XT Taichi for $550. It has a 12V power connector, but I noticed my PSU (RM850X 2021 model) doesn't have a 12V HPWR connector. I found this Corsair cable online that's a premium individually sleeved 12V 2x6 PCIe gen 5 cable. Can I use that to power my GPU? Just a heads up, the 9070XT Taichi actually uses a 16-pin 12VHPWR connector, not the 12-pin one used by NVIDIA’s 3000 series GPUs. Even though they look similar, make sure you’re getting the correct connector with the additional small pins on it!

Thanks for the clarification! I’ll make sure to double-check my connections.

You're looking at a Type 5 cable, which won’t be compatible with your Type 4 PSU. You’ll need to find a Type 4 12V cable that fits your setup. Corsair has the right Type 4 cables available. Check this out: https://www.corsair.com/se/sv/search?q=Type+4+12v-2x6
