Help! My WiFi Isn’t Working at All

I'm really struggling to get my WiFi to work. It connects, but I receive a message saying there's no internet connection. I've tried almost every troubleshooting guide I can find online. I've reinstalled the WiFi adapters from both Intel and Lenovo's websites, but nothing seems to help. There was a moment when reinstalling the network drivers worked temporarily, but then it reverted back to this issue. I'm considering a full reset, but the cost seems too high and I'm not certain it would solve the problem. For reference, I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad with an Intel Celeron processor and Realtek WiFi adapters that Lenovo recommends.

Have you tried rebooting your router? Sometimes it can report no internet just because something is blocking the testing process, but your actual internet might still be okay. Also, check if the WiFi signal is strong where your PC is located. If other devices are connecting fine, it might not be the router causing the issue. I suggest using the network troubleshooter as it resets quite a bit. If that doesn't work and you feel you need to start fresh, a full Windows installation is better than just resetting the settings. Oh, and make sure you’re downloading drivers specifically for your Realtek card, not Intel drivers.

I've tried to run the troubleshooter, but it doesn’t find any issues. I've also connected via my phone's hotspot in the meantime.

Here’s a snap of the network troubleshooter results I got. Seems like it still didn't detect anything.

Try this: Open PowerShell and type "ping 1.1.1.1". If it goes through, but you still can't access websites, you might have a DNS issue. It's a solid test to help narrow down where the problem lies.

I ran that command, and this is what I got in response. Looks like there might be something funky going on!

Good call on resetting network settings! Sometimes that's all it takes. Let me know if that finally brings your WiFi back!

I get why you’d hesitate on resetting your device, but it's really not as costly as you think. A good technician could diagnose this problem quickly, likely in under two minutes. Maybe get a second opinion before diving deep into resets?
