I've been seriously thinking about switching to Linux after watching a video where PewDiePie built his PC. I'm currently on Windows 11 but am considering going back to Windows 10. However, I really want to give Linux a shot! The only issue is, I'm overwhelmed by the choices. I've seen so many recommendations like PopOS, Ubuntu, and Bazzite, especially since I have an Nvidia GPU. I've heard it can be tricky with gaming on Linux. I just downloaded PopOS and Ubuntu two hours ago, but I'm already lost in all the options! If anyone has suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Also, if you need my specs, I can provide them!

You seem to be experiencing decision paralysis! Ubuntu or Fedora are great choices for beginners—they work well in most situations. Don’t stress over making the "perfect" choice. If you don’t like one, you can always try another!
So true! I tried a bunch like Mint and PopOS, and honestly, just experimenting was a breeze.
Go with Ubuntu; it’s been a staple for beginners forever. Plus, it has tons of tutorials online since it’s so widely used. You’ll be in good hands!
Honestly, it doesn’t matter too much. Just try a few distros and see what vibe you like! I recommend starting with one that has a big community, like Ubuntu or PopOS, where you'll easily find tutorials and help.
PopOS looks interesting, so I might start there. I’m just not sure if it’ll work well with my Nvidia GPU.
Check out Distrosea.com for a comprehensive overview of different Linux distros. It's a game changer! You can also read up on Distrowatch for more insights. There's a lot to explore there!
Wow, that site is crazy! I can simulate all the distros?
If you're unsure, you can test a live image of different distros before installing! Tools like Ventoy let you boot from multiple ISOs, making it easy to check them out. Take the plunge and see what fits!
How do I try a live image? And what's Ventoy?
That’s exactly the agony I feel, especially when I just want to play RPGs! I’ll keep those suggestions in mind.
