I have an 8GB USB flash drive that I usually use to transfer movies to watch on my TV. Everything was fine until I tried transferring a 4GB movie (The Lord of the Rings). When I attempted to do this, a message popped up saying it's too large for the current format. I then changed the format of the USB drive to exFAT, which allowed me to transfer the movie, but when I plugged it into the TV, nothing showed up. It seems that my TV doesn't support exFAT. Is there a way to solve this issue without having to switch back to FAT32, which would delete all my files?

Hey, does your TV even support USB playback? Sometimes the issue could just be that the TV isn’t set up to read from USB drives. Just a thought!
Are you using Windows or Linux? If you’re on FAT32, it doesn't allow files over 4GB, so exFAT seemed like a good move, but if your TV can't read exFAT, you'll need to reformat. You can’t convert exFAT to NTFS directly without losing your data. So, if you want to use NTFS, back up your files, reformat the USB, and then you should be good. Just remember, with FAT32, you'll lose any files over 4GB.
You should definitely check your TV's manual to see which formats it can read. If it supports NTFS, that might be a good alternative for handling larger files like your 4GB movie. It could save you from formatting back to FAT32 which will wipe your files.

Exactly, formatting to NTFS will wipe everything. Just make sure to have your files saved somewhere else first!
