Help! I Repair Windows 11 and Now I Have Two Operating Systems with No Wi-Fi Adapter Recognized

I'm having a tough time with my Asus px13 after attempting to repair Windows 11 using a bootable USB. Initially, I encountered a "PC/Device needs to be repaired" error related to winload.efi. In my efforts to fix it, I somehow ended up with two operating systems: one that's still broken and a new one that can't recognize my Wi-Fi adapter. I've tried resetting the network settings and installing the Wi-Fi driver, but nothing seems to work. Any advice or articles that can help me out?

First off, make sure to check your Device Manager. Sometimes, the Wi-Fi adapter might not show up if there’s an issue with the driver or the hardware itself. If you see it listed under Network Adapters, that’s a good sign; otherwise, it might be a deeper issue. Also, don't forget to double-check your BIOS settings to ensure that the wireless adapter isn’t disabled there. If it’s still not recognized, it might be worth trying to revert to an earlier system restore point if you can.

Absolutely, checking BIOS is crucial! I had a similar issue where my adapter was disabled in BIOS after a Windows update. A quick toggle there solved my problem. Make sure to look closely!

It sounds frustrating! You might want to consider running the Windows Troubleshooter for network issues. Go to Settings, then Update & Security, then Troubleshoot. Look for additional troubleshooters and select Network Adapter. This might help you identify and fix any underlying issues with your connection settings.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely run the troubleshooter and see if it points out any issues I might have missed.
