What should I do if my phone fell in water?

I dropped my Samsung A32 in the sink while rinsing dishes, and it was fully submerged for about 2 seconds. I immediately turned it off and have been drying it carefully, keeping the ports facing down to help any remaining moisture drain out. Is there a way to speed up the drying process without risking damage, or will I just have to wait for 1-2 days? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Try placing your phone in a sealed container with silica gel packets for a couple of days. If you don't have those, you could use silica cat litter instead. Just wrap your phone in a paper towel to keep it clean, then put it in a plastic bag with the litter (you might want to bake the litter a bit first to make sure it’s dry). Silica packets typically work better, but they're a bit pricier and harder to find.

Unfortunately, there's not much to do but play the waiting game. Just keep your phone turned off and don’t plug it in to charge. Keeping it off is essential to prevent further damage while it dries.
