I'm dealing with an issue on my Acer laptop, which is pretty new and has Windows 11 and a touch screen. Last night, it died while I was sleeping, and I left it on my bed. When I woke up and plugged it in, I didn't realize that it was still losing battery charge. Now it's stuck at 1%. I'm not sure what to do next!

First off, don’t leave your laptop on soft surfaces like a bed; it can block the vents and cause overheating. Shut down the laptop and let it cool down fully. After that, plug it in for a couple of hours and then turn it back on to check how much charge you've got. If it overheated, the battery charging might have temporarily stopped to protect the system.
If it's still not working after letting it charge, you might want to consider if the battery is faulty. Since your charger is new, it’s likely not the issue. You may need to look into having the battery replaced if it doesn’t start charging normally after a good amount of time.
