Hey everyone! I'm considering getting a prebuilt PC that comes with an RTX 5090, and I'm looking for some advice on whether to buy it now or wait a bit. Here are the specs of the PC:
- Motherboard: M5 (AURA)
- CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D
- CPU Cooler: ASUS ROG STRIX LC III AIO ARGB LIQUID COOLER 360mm
- RAM: TEAMGROUP T-FORCE RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz
- SSD: 2TB KINGSTON NV3 SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2
- GPU: ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 5090 32GB OC GDDR7
- PSU: ASUS ROG 1200 Watt Fully Modular
- Case: DARKFLASH DY470 TEMP - GLASS ATX MID TOWER CASE
The total price is $6453. I'm finding it hard to locate RTX 5090s at a reasonable price, so I'm torn between grabbing this prebuilt or holding out for a better deal. What do you think?

I totally get it! I went through the same wait. Check out a Discord community called Falcodrin; they have alerts for when RTX 5090s are back in stock. The prices might still be around $3000, but it’s worth it if you can snag one without the waiting game.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out. Have a great day!

$6500 isn’t outrageous for a prebuilt, but honestly, these prebuilt systems often cut corners on other components like RAM and motherboards. It might be better to wait and get the parts separately for a more balanced build.

Yeah, but I have a super old GT 1030, and I'm tired of dealing with all the scalpers. If I buy this PC, at least I won't have to worry about upgrades for a decade, right?

Where are you located? That could impact your decision significantly. Prices vary a lot by region.

I'm in Saudi Arabia, and it seems like the RTX 5090s are a bit cheaper here compared to the US, but they’re still above MSRP.

I’d hold off for now. The RTX 5090s are starting to show up everywhere, and you might find a better deal soon. For example, MSI has some bundles available right now. Why pay a premium for the whole PC when you can likely get the GPU separately for less?

But the cheapest MSI Suprim RTX 5090 I found is around $6294, so this whole setup at $6453 isn't too bad, considering the graphics card alone would cost almost that much.
