I've been researching and trying to create a solid PC build for around $2,000, but I ended up spending about $2,500. I'm mainly going to use it for standard gaming and computer work. Could you give me some advice on what changes I should consider? Does everything I chose work well together, or am I missing something? Here's the [link to my build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PRggkf) for reference.

I can help you save about $400 without changing your overall build too much:
1. Grab the motherboard and CPU as a combo directly from MSI for a nice discount.
2. Go for a newer version of your cooler that offers great performance at a lower price.
3. Consider 48 GB of faster RAM instead; it’s still a bit more than needed but offers solid speed.
4. You might not need the high-end 5070 Ti when a 9070 is available for less, which could save you some cash.
5. This case comes with 5 fans included, so no need to buy more!
6. Use a cheaper PSU that still has plenty of power.
All these changes can seriously bring down the cost without sacrificing much performance!
Why did you go for 64 GB of RAM? That's a lot! It seems like overkill for gaming and general use. You might want to switch to 32 GB; it should be more than enough for what you're doing. I had a similar situation with my old build where I went way overboard with RAM, so I totally get it!
Yeah, exactly! I went with 64 GB in my previous setup, but I realized later it was unnecessary for most tasks. Swapping to 32 GB sounds like a smart move.
You can definitely get a solid build for much less than what you've planned! Check out my suggestions for a cheaper motherboard and RAM; you won't need more than 32 GB for gaming and standard use. With these changes, you'll be able to fit a 5080 in your set-up without breaking the bank!
Got it! Just curious, what's the main difference between the 5080 and the 5070 Ti? Is it worth the investment?

These suggestions are great! I love that case too. If I decide to upgrade to a 5080, would you recommend sticking with the other components or changing something else?
