What’s the Best PSU for a 5070?

I'm trying to choose between the Montech Century II 850W and the Corsair RM650E 650W for my build with a 5070 graphics card. According to PC Part Picker, the wattage of my setup is around 446W. The Montech is only $15 more than the Corsair, but I'm wondering if that extra wattage is worth it. I understand it might seem like I'm being frugal, but I could use that savings for something like RGB RAM later on when prices settle down. So, is 650W enough for my needs? Any advice would be appreciated!

Don’t skimp on the PSU. Getting a high-quality one is crucial. I run a solid 750W PSU with my 5070, and it really handles the spikes well, especially during gaming. The card itself is rated around 250W but can hit 300W+ under heavier loads or if you're overclocking. It’s smart to have at least 100W above your minimum requirements to ensure stability.

Sounds good, Montech it is then! Thanks for the tip!

I'd go for the RM850E or even the X model if you can swing it. You want to make sure you have enough power without cutting corners.

I get that, but the Montech is cheaper. Should I just stick with that option?
