Why Does My PC Shut Down Randomly Under Load?

I've been having a frustrating issue with my PC where it randomly shuts down when it's under load. The screens go black, and the fans ramp up to max speed. Sometimes it restarts on its own after a couple of minutes without any error messages, but other times I have to force it off with the power button because it just keeps running with the fans on full blast. After forcing it off, it seems to work normally again. I've been wondering if this might be an overheating issue, but when I ran a test to push the GPU to its limits, it didn't crash. The outside of the PC doesn't look dirty or in need of cleanup. Any ideas on what could be causing this or what I can do to fix it? It's really annoying!

It sounds like you might be dealing with a power supply issue here. When the PSU can't provide enough power, especially under load, it can cause your system to shut down unexpectedly.

I hadn’t thought about that. Can you explain a bit more about how that might happen? I mean, the loud fans made me think there’s enough power going to everything!
