Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a jam with my SSD. It started acting up yesterday, filling itself up out of nowhere, and I suspected it might be a virus. So, I reformatted the drive, but now Windows is throwing errors left and right. To try and fix this, I made a bootable Windows flash drive, but that hasn't worked out either—my flash drive, which is just 14GB, is now full and won't even run the Windows installer anymore. I was hoping to use that to reinstall Windows back on the original drive as a backup plan. I'm feeling pretty frustrated about this whole situation. Any suggestions on how to solve this? Thanks for any help!

I recommend utilizing a tool called Rufus to create a bootable USB if the Media Creation Tool isn't working for you. Make sure you also choose the right partition scheme for the drive. If the USB is still giving you issues, you might need to free up space by reformatting it before trying to make it bootable again. Additionally, check for any hidden files that might be taking up space on there. Hopefully, that will help you get back on track!
It sounds like you might have some malware issues. If that's the case, I suggest checking out a thorough malware removal guide. It might help clean up your SSD before doing anything else. If that's not helpful, you could also try creating a new bootable USB drive, since it seems your current one is messed up. Just use the Microsoft Media Creation Tool on another computer and try reinstalling Windows from there, deleting everything on your system drive during the process. That way, you can start fresh!
I actually tried that, but now the flash drive is full and I can't do anything with it.
