I received a quote from my managed service provider for deploying Jamf Connect. They are asking for $15,000 and say it will take 3-4 months for about 50 users. We plan to use Entra as our identity provider for Zero Trust. Does this pricing and timeline seem reasonable to others in the community?

Definitely sounds like overkill! I'm a JAMF admin myself, and for 50 users, you should be able to set this up in 1-2 days max. If you have the right permissions for Entra, you could easily handle this in-house and save a ton of money. No way should it take that long.
That price is absolutely nuts for just 50 users! I'm not really versed in MSP pricing, but even the timeframe of 3-4 months seems excessive. We did a similar rollout with in-house IT, and it didn’t take that long at all.
No way should it cost that much, or take longer than a week! Especially if you're already a Jamf customer. Definitely worth a second opinion here.
So true! That quote is pretty outrageous. If you already have Jamf, setting up Connect shouldn't take more than a couple of days. We switched to Kandji because it's easier to manage and integrates well with Azure compliance policies. Just an idea if things get too pricey for you!
Seems crazy to me too! The timeline and cost are way off for what you need. Are they planning a lot of custom setups? We went with Primo for our cross-platform management and had a much quicker setup. You might want to explore other options too!

Exactly! If you’re comfortable with your tech environment, there's no need to shell out that much for a deployment.
