I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card since I recently got a 160Hz 4K monitor. Currently, I have a Ryzen 7 5800X and an MSI OC 3070 Ti, but I can only get around 100 FPS in 4K at minimum graphics. I'd love to play demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 at high settings and around 160 FPS. I know a 5090 would handle that easily, but I really don't want to spend €2,400 on a GPU. I'm considering both new AMD cards and older NVIDIA options. Brand isn't a huge deal for me; I care more about performance in 4K gaming and don't really need Ray Tracing. Suggestions?

Honestly, if you're not obsessed with Ray Tracing or path tracing, going for a 9070XT or even a 5070 Ti could work. They’re much more affordable than the latest options and can still deliver smooth gameplay at high settings for most games.
If you're aiming for high performance in Cyberpunk, the NVIDIA 4090 is top-tier, but I get that budget is a concern. The AMD 9070XT could be a solid choice since you don't care about Ray Tracing. It should handle 4K gaming decently well, especially with FSR for better performance.
For pure raster performance, you're looking at a range of options like the 7900XTX or older models like the 5080. While they might not match the 5090 or 4090, you can still achieve good settings at 4K. Just be prepared to spend at least $1000 if you want something that holds up well.
