I'm trying to figure out whether my BIOS is set to Legacy or UEFI, but I can't access my system information. I'm getting an error message that says, "Can't collect Information. Cannot access the windows management instrumentation software. Windows management files may be moved or missing." I looked into WMI but didn't find the help page very useful, and the diagnosis tool it suggested is unavailable. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Just to clarify, you can open the Command Prompt by searching for it in the Start menu. Type `sfc /scannow` and hit Enter; this will scan for any file integrity issues. As for disk checking, run `chkdsk` directly in the prompt. Let us know if it helps!
First off, does your system actually boot up? If it does, you might want to try running a disk check and the SFC command to see if that resolves any issues. Just open the Command Prompt as an admin, and you can run `chkdsk` followed by `sfc /scannow`. That might help recover any missing files.
