I recently built a new PC and ran some speed tests on my WD_Black SN7100 drives—specifically the 1 TB and 2 TB models. Both drives are showing a maximum read and write speed of around 6k. I'm using the AS_SSD Benchmark tool for these tests. Does anyone have any insight on why this might be happening?

How are you performing the tests? It’s worth considering whether your workloads require those high speeds for sustained periods, as that could affect the results.
