I'm looking for the best Linux distro for gaming and have tried out Garuda (specifically the Dragonized version) and CachyOS. While both distros are nice, they feel a bit heavy for my laptop. I recently came across Linux Lite, which is based on Ubuntu. I'm curious how easy it is to use gaming platforms like Lutris or Heroic Launcher on it. Also, I have an Nvidia 1050ti 4GB graphics card. Is it straightforward to install the proprietary driver on Linux Lite? Thanks in advance!

CachyOS tends to be the favorite for content creators with newer Nvidia GPUs. Just a heads up, there isn't really a specific 'gaming distro'—you can tweak any distro to suit your gaming needs. If your laptop isn't super powerful, I recommend going for a lightweight desktop environment like LXQt or XFCE.

CachyOS has a modified kernel and built-in tools that finely tune your performance, which might not be as easy to find on distros like Mint or Ubuntu.
