I'm looking for some advice on picking a power supply unit (PSU) for my new build featuring an RTX 5090 and a Ryzen 9 9950X3D. I've done quite a bit of research and found two models that seem promising. The first is the ASRock PG 1600G ATX 3.1 1600W, which has great audio certification and reliable components. One of the key features I'm after is the temperature guard connector protection and support for ATX 3.1 and PCI-E 5.1. My second option is the ASRock TC-1650T, which offers similar features but has a titanium certification and LAMBDA A++. However, it's currently out of stock and I'm uncertain when it will be available again. Given this situation, do you think I should wait for the TC-1650T or just go ahead and get the ASRock PG 1600G?

I think you could totally go with a 1000W PSU and be just fine for your setup. But honestly, those high-end components can have some power spikes, so having a little headroom is always a good idea. Definitely opt for something with temperature guard protection like you mentioned; it's worth the extra peace of mind.
If it's just a matter of waiting for stock, I'd personally lean towards the ASRock TC-1650T since it sounds like the more reliable long-term investment with that titanium certification. But if you need to build soon, the PG 1600G will get the job done!
