I recently purchased a prebuilt PC featuring an Intel i9 14900KF CPU, but I've been encountering frequent crashes. After some research, I realized that these CPUs have known issues that have existed since at least mid last year. I'm really frustrated because I feel misled about this purchase. Firstly, why was this sold to me? Secondly, how can I resolve these crashing issues? I've heard that underclocking may help, but I find that option quite unacceptable. If that's my only choice, I'd appreciate guidance on how to effectively underclock it. Regardless, I'm very upset and strongly considering avoiding Intel products in the future.

Definitely update your BIOS if you haven't already; Intel rolled out new updates to address this. Undervolting might help too, but keep in mind it usually takes some time for any damage to lead to crashes, so it’s worth looking into a BIOS fix first.
I wouldn’t throw away all Intel products just yet! There are still exciting releases coming up, like the Celestial GPUs and new battlemage GPUs. While I have my doubts about the Arrow Lake refresh, overall, I’m optimistic about their next-gen chips using the LHA1954 socket.
You should check if you have the latest BIOS installed! A fix was released last fall that might resolve those crashing issues. If you’re still experiencing problems, it’s worth reaching out to your PC manufacturer for support.
