Hey everyone! I've been playing some recent games and it seems my AMD 5700X isn't cutting it anymore. I feel like it's bottlenecking my RTX 3080 Ti performance, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm thinking about changing my CPU but want to keep my budget under €350. Additionally, I've heard about the new AM5 processors; are they worth considering?

Honestly, I don't think your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU that much. Those online calculators can be misleading sometimes. Just keep an eye on your FPS; it might not be as bad as you think.
With a budget like that, it's pretty tough to find a CPU, motherboard, and RAM all together. You could look into getting a 5700X3D or 5800X3D as an upgrade; that's likely to give you a decent 20% boost, which is the best you can get for AM4 right now.
That's good to know! I was considering those options. My game's performance feels off because on low settings I get around 80 FPS, and my friend with a 6750 XT and a 5600 XT is pulling 170 FPS on the same game. It’s a bit frustrating!
