I'm managing 60 laptops for my company, split evenly between 30 Macs and 30 Windows machines. I'm using Mosyle for the MacBooks, but now I need to choose an MDM solution for the Windows laptops. Intune seems too pricey and complex for my needs, and as the sole system administrator, my time is limited. I'm mainly looking for essential features like remote wipe, locking, app deployment, and patching capabilities. I've considered options like Hexnode and ManageEngine, but I'm open to other suggestions. Any recommendations for managing 30 Windows laptops effectively?

For a smaller setup, I'd suggest checking out GetPrimo. It seems to match your needs pretty well without the hassle!
Have you evaluated both Hexnode and ManageEngine? They usually have trials, so you might try them out and see which one feels more intuitive for you without spinning your wheels too much.
If you're using Microsoft 365, have you thought about whether you’re already subscribed? It might be worth looking into if Intune becomes more accessible that way!
We're using Mosyle for our iPads and Action1 for our Windows devices. Action1 primarily specializes in patch management but also has basic MDM functionalities. It could be a fit for you, plus it's free for up to 200 devices!

Right now, we're not paying for 365. Just have the Windows 11 Pro licenses.
