I have an Asus TUF A17 gaming laptop, and I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where the WiFi adapter crashes whenever I move or tilt the laptop. This problem seems to happen more often when I'm connected to a VPN, though it still occurs if I'm not using one. The only temporary fix I've found is to force reboot the laptop by holding down the power button, as a normal restart doesn't fix the problem. Sometimes, I can get it working again by restarting the WiFi adapter, but that only works once before I need to hard reboot again. I rely on my laptop daily, so any advice on fixing this would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like one of your internal WiFi antennae might be loose. They connect to the network card on your motherboard and run through the hinges to your screen. I'd recommend opening your laptop and checking if those connections are secure. Just be careful, as they're pretty fragile! Also, inspect the wires for any damage, especially at the hinge. If everything looks good there, it's possible those wires are shorting out. As a last resort, you might want to consider getting a USB WiFi adapter instead.
I actually opened my laptop to check the network adapter, but I couldn’t find it on the motherboard. I only checked the bottom; do you think I need to look under the keyboard?
