Hey folks! I'm eyeing some Black Friday deals here in Sweden and considering upgrading my PC, specifically the GPU. I've got a 3080 right now and honestly, I don't feel a huge need to upgrade just yet. However, I found a decent deal on the 5080. Do you think it's worth making the jump now, or should I just hold off for another year or two until the next series comes out?

What influenced your choice of the 5080 over the 5070 Ti? I’ve seen a lot of chatter about the 5070 Ti being a better pick in some threads, but I’m not too sure why that is.
Honestly, if your system is still delivering the performance you need, it might be wise to hold off a little longer. Upgrading just for the sake of having the latest hardware can be a waste of money if you don’t really need it.
I took the plunge and upgraded from a 3080 to a 5080, and I’m really pleased with my decision! I play at 1440p 240Hz and 4K 120Hz, and the performance boost has been noticeable. If you play demanding games, it might be a sweet upgrade for you too!

Haha, yeah, I get that! For me, it mostly came down to price. The deal on the 5080 was too good to pass up, especially when it was price-matched to the 5070 Ti. Performance-wise, they’re both solid, but since I’ve been running the 80 series for a while, it's kind of my go-to.
