I've been using my Ethernet connection without any issues for the past two years, but out of nowhere, it stopped working. I've even tried factory resetting my Windows, but it still shows up as an unidentified network with no internet access. I'm using an ASRock B660 Pro RS motherboard. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It sounds like you might be dealing with a DHCP issue. Can you check if anything changed in your router's management interface regarding how your device appears? If it has added specific settings like a static IP, try unplugging the device, removing those settings, resetting your network adapter on your computer, and then reconnecting it. After that, check how it appears in the router settings again.
First off, make sure the Ethernet cable you're using is still good. Try plugging it into another device, like a different computer or laptop. If that other device shows up as an 'unidentified network,' then the issue might be with your router or switch not assigning an IP address properly.
I tried it on a laptop and it worked, so the cable seems fine.

I don’t think it's showing up at all in the router's settings.
