Help! I’m Stuck with a Black Screen and Just a Mouse Cursor After Logging In

I've been struggling with a black screen issue after logging into my system. It started a couple of days ago when I changed my login screen. I've tried reinstalling Arch Linux multiple times, but that hasn't resolved anything. I've looked for solutions, but most are either ineffective, not working after a reboot, or involve files that don't exist in tty. I'm using Arch Linux with the KDE-Plasma desktop environment and an NVIDIA 1650 graphics card. I've double-checked to ensure I'm installing the correct drivers since I'm using Arch, which isn't the most beginner-friendly distro but suits my needs best.

If this issue has been persistent, you might want to consider restoring a daily backup from last week. It can be a quick fix if you have one set up!

What exactly is that and how do I go about doing it?

Have you checked if you accidentally have a second monitor plugged in that's turned off? It’s a common hiccup where the desktop defaults to that monitor, leaving you with just the cursor on your main screen. Just a thought!

I do have two monitors connected, but both turn on and show the same output.
