I'm looking for some thoughts on my planned PC build. Here's the part list I've put together, and I'd love to hear any advice or recommendations on it! I've included everything from the CPU to the power supply. Check it out and let me know what you think!

What’s the primary use for this build? Because I feel like the motherboard, GPU, and CPU are a bit adjustable depending on whether you’re gaming, streaming, or doing some encoding.
I was thinking of switching up a couple of parts as well! For the motherboard, I’d go for the ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E. And I'm considering a different case, the Montech KING 65 PRO. What do you think?
What specific features do you like about the more expensive motherboard that justify the higher price?
Your build looks good but I've got a cheaper option that packs more RAM and a larger SSD. I found this alternative configuration:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- Motherboard: MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX
- RAM: Patriot Venom 64 GB
- Storage: Western Digital WD_BLACK SN7100 2 TB
- GPU: PNY OC GeForce RTX 5080
- Case: Corsair 3500X ARGB
- PSU: Montech CENTURY II 1050 W
Total comes to about $2383, which is a bit less than your list!
This build makes way more sense. You could save a bit more by opting for a 7800X3D if you’re using the 5080 for 4K or 1440p.

I'm mostly into coding, streaming, and encoding.
