I'm trying to decide between two motherboards for an Intel Core Ultra 235 desktop processor: the ASUS TUF Gaming B860-PLUS WiFi and the MSI MAG B860 Tomahawk. What are the pros and cons of each, and which one is the better choice overall?

Unless you're pushing your system to 100% load with heavy tasks or extreme overclocking, the difference is minimal. Just pick one that meets your needs, is within budget, and perhaps consider which one has a better warranty or looks cooler. For gaming, you won't need an over-the-top motherboard to max out your processor.
The ASUS TUF Gaming B860-PLUS and MSI MAG B860 Tomahawk are both solid choices. The Tomahawk series has a good reputation for being feature-rich and reliable at a reasonable price. Ultimately, it might just come down to which one you find more visually appealing or if you have specific features in mind.
I prefer MSI for their reliability and performance. Just make sure the WiFi drivers are solid; the one I was looking at has Intel Killer BE1750. Anyone have experience with that?
Both are solid options, but I’ve heard good things about the MSI MAG B860 Tomahawk. You can’t really go wrong with either, just choose what fits your needs best!
In terms of functionality, both motherboards are very similar. Choose based on the number of USB ports you need, your budget, and the specific expansions you plan to make. Without knowing all the components in your setup, it’s hard to recommend one over the other.

It's the Asus TUF Gaming B860-PLUS WiFi B860 LGA 1851 ATX motherboard and yeah, I agree with you.
