Looking for PC Build Advice for Audio Processing

Hey everyone! I'm a computer science master's student from Belgium and I'm in the process of building a home PC. I currently use a laptop for my coursework, but I'm looking to use the new setup for more demanding tasks, particularly audio processing software like Ableton and Max, as well as visualization tools such as Unity. This is my first build, and I have a budget of around 1500 to 1800 euros. I'm also interested in audio software and hardware development as a hobby and want to create a custom I/O box with both old and new connectors used in audio. Any tips on my build or suggestions for the custom I/O would be greatly appreciated! Here's the parts list I've put together: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8VHz2x.

You'll find plenty of support for building in Belgium! Check out be.pcpartpicker.com for local pricing. Also, twakers.net is a solid source for components in Belgium and the Netherlands. One note: the X3D CPUs are mainly geared towards gaming. If you're focused on audio tasks, you might want to consider alternatives that better suit those needs. For cooling, the Dark Rock Pro 5 isn’t the best choice for an AM5 setup. I'd recommend the Phantom Spirit instead—it's cheaper and performs better. Also, think about a silent case for audio work, like the Fractal Define 7; it really reduces noise and is great for keeping things quiet during sessions.

Thank you, I will definitely consider this!
