I recently switched to Linux Mint and I'm learning the ropes of the system. I'm trying to sort my music album files by their track numbers in the file viewer, but I can't find an option for that in Arrange Items or Configure Columns. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Seems like a pretty major design oversight on the default file manager. If sorting by track number is crucial for you, consider using software like Rhythmbox or Clementine that has better support for organizing music.
Unfortunately, it seems like there's no direct option for sorting music files by track number in Linux Mint's default file manager. It might be a design limitation, but there are alternative audio players that can do this better!
To sort your music by track number, switch to List View in the file viewer. However, you'll need to ensure your music files have track numbers tagged in their metadata. If that's not working, let me know and we can troubleshoot further!
