I found the RTX 5070 on sale at my local Walmart for $489, and I'm currently using an RX 7800 XT. I've been playing Bloodborne and really appreciate the higher VRAM on the 7800. From what I've gathered, the RTX 5070 offers about a 20% performance improvement, but I'm not sure that's worth the upgrade for $500. What do you all think?

Honestly, I wouldn't make the switch. If your RX 7800 XT is working fine for your needs, it might be best to stick with it. The performance gains from the 5070 just don’t seem significant enough, especially at that price. Nvidia has some nice features like DLSS, but I'd wait for a better upgrade opportunity.
I'd agree, if you're able to sell your 7800 XT for a decent price, then it could be worth it. But selling it right now might be tough. I wouldn't upgrade just for a 15-20% performance boost; I'd value a bigger performance jump.

That makes sense! I definitely don't want to lose out on potential value selling my current card.
