What should I do after accidentally leaving my iPhone 13 in the freezer?

I made a mistake and left my iPhone 13 in the freezer for about 15–20 minutes because it was overheating. It's been around 30 hours since I took it out, and I've removed the SIM tray and left it on a towel in my room without turning it on or plugging it in. I've heard I should wait 48 hours, but I'm worried about whether it's safe to use now. I really need my phone for work and school. What should I do?

Did you follow a guide that suggested that? Just a heads up, it can create condensation, so I'd advise being careful. Wait a little longer, then check if it turns on. If you can, it might be best to have a pro look at it first to avoid issues.

Your phone might be okay, especially since I’ve lived in colder climates that go below freezing all the time. You could try charging it and see if it turns on, but be cautious. The overheating could be a bigger issue; maybe your charger isn't working right. Just monitor it when you turn it on.

Leaving your phone in the freezer for that long might have caused some condensation inside, which could be risky. It’s best to take it to a repair shop and let the experts handle it. They’ll check for any damage and make sure it’s safe to use.
