I just upgraded to iPadOS 18 on my iPad 9, and it's been running really slow. I'm wondering if there's any way to downgrade back to the previous version, or if there are any tools available to help with this. I noticed that the IPSW files on IPSW.me are not signed anymore, which complicates things.

Your iPad is relatively new, but it does have only 3 GB of RAM, and if you picked the 64 GB version, you might be running out of space. Have you checked your battery health? Sometimes battery issues can cause performance drops.

That's a good point! Also, try using the battery health shortcut. It might give you a clearer picture of what's going on.

Unfortunately, downgrading isn't officially supported, and it doesn't look like there are any current options available. If your iPad 9 has been sluggish since the update, it might just need some time to settle in after the installation process.

I had a similar experience! After a few days, my iPad seemed to speed up a lot. It might just be doing background tasks after the update.
