Should I Trade My 5070 for a 9070 XT Plus Cash?

I'm considering a trade where I would give up my 5070 graphics card along with $200 to get a 9070 XT. The 9070 XT is from a trustworthy guy I've made trades with before. However, I'm unsure if this is a good deal overall. What are your thoughts on this trade? Am I likely to see any performance improvements in games like Rust with the 9070 XT?

It sounds like you need a bit more info to make a solid decision. First off, what's the condition of both cards? Are they new or used? Since both cards are from ASUS TUF and you have past trading history with this person, you might have some peace of mind there. However, for the price difference to be reasonable, you should consider if the 9070 XT is really worth the extra cash and your 5070. Generally speaking, if you can verify the condition of the 9070 XT and it's in good shape, you might get better performance, but be cautious not to throw in too much extra cash if the prices don't line up for both cards.

Both GPUs are practically new and come with original packaging. Plus, I live on a small island in Canada where finding a 9070 XT in stores is impossible. I've traded with this guy before without issues, so I'm not too worried about it. I'm mainly curious if the 9070 XT will give me a notable performance boost in Rust.
