I'm considering upgrading from my current CPU, the 5700X, to the 5700X3D because I've noticed a significant performance drop in games like Indiana Jones and Fortnite. My 5700X sometimes hits 90% CPU usage, leading to stuttering during gameplay. I bought the 5700X for about $25, and although it had some bent pins, it's been working fine. Now, I have the chance to get the 5700X3D for $120. Is this upgrade worthwhile?

I moved from a 5600X to the 5700X3D and it was a fantastic upgrade. You’ll likely see a nice performance increase in gaming. If your current CPU is struggling, then definitely go for the upgrade—$120 for that kind of performance is a steal!
For $120, I think it's totally worth it, especially since you're on AM4. Just make sure it’s a good deal and not from some sketchy source. It might not be the latest tech, but it will definitely serve you well for now!
You mentioned your current CPU is already underperforming, and with a missing pin, it might be time for a change. The 5700X3D will definitely enhance your gaming experience, so I’d say yeah, go for it!
Honestly, if you're getting the 5700X3D for $120, that's a great deal! Given the rise in DDR5 RAM prices, sticking with AM4 and upgrading to the 5700X3D could give you a solid gaming boost without breaking the bank. It’s definitely worth it for a couple more years of solid performance!

You could sell your 5700X for at least $50, making the upgrade not so painful on the wallet!
