Hey everyone! I'm really in a bind here and could use some help with my HP desktop. It has an Intel i5 from the 4th generation. I recently tried to do a full reset of Windows, but I accidentally interrupted the installation process because it was taking forever. Now, every time I restart, the system gets stuck on the Windows boot logo and I can't even reach the login screen.
Here's what I've already tried:
- I attempted to access the BIOS/UEFI setup, but none of the usual keys (like Esc, F2, F9, F10, F11, Del) seem to work.
- I even took out the CMOS battery for a few minutes to reset the BIOS.
- I removed and reseated the RAM modules, just to be safe.
- The PC powers on and the fans are working, but it just won't get past the Windows logo.
Right now, I'm stuck because I can't access the Windows Recovery Environment or the BIOS, which means I can't boot from a USB drive to fix or reinstall Windows.
If anyone has suggestions on how to force access to the BIOS, get past the stuck boot, or recover my system, please let me know. I'm open to sharing my Discord for step-by-step guidance. Thanks a ton!

Sounds like a tough spot! Just a heads up, the built-in factory reset can be tricky and isn’t always reliable. A clean install is typically the better route. Have you tried that before, or do you need steps on how to do it?
If you’re stuck at the boot logo, it might be worth disconnecting peripherals and seeing if that helps. Sometimes external devices can mess with the boot process.
What model desktop do you have? Knowing the specific model could really help in finding the right solution for your issue.
