I've been playing Marvel Rivals for about 700 hours with only a couple of crashes. However, in the last three days, I've experienced 21 crashes! I've tried reinstalling my drivers using DDU, and I also toggled XMP settings, but the issue persists. With XMP off, it seems to take longer, but I still crash after a few hours of play. The only thing I see in the logs is an audio error related to AK Wwise pointing to memory issues. I'm worried it could be my GPU or memory failing, and even though I recently got new RAM, my CPU is getting old—it's nearly five years old and has been through a lot of heat. I also wondered if some Windows library could be causing the problem since the audio error appeared after uninstalling the Nvidia HD audio driver (which I don't use). Nvidia's latest driver is 581.80. Can anyone help me diagnose this?

It sounds like you might be dealing with a driver issue. Sometimes DDU can mess with 50-series drivers. I suggest downloading the official Nvidia driver version 551.76 and performing a clean install. Just choose 'Custom' during installation and check 'Perform a clean installation.' You can uncheck the HD Audio if you're not using it, as that shouldn't affect your crashes. Avoid the Studio drivers; Game Ready tends to perform better for games built with Unreal Engine 5.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't use Studio drivers, but with the 580.81 installer, I clicked "clean install"—is that similar to what you're suggesting? I wasn't sure if DDU was an issue since I started using it because of the crashes. Nvidia also mentioned their telemetry shows no increase in problems with the driver. What do you think could be causing these crashes?
