I'm looking to upgrade my 128GB SSD to something larger, but I'm not sure about the type I currently have. It doesn't seem to match the typical SATA or NVMe connectors based on the notch placement. It appears to have an 8+18 pin connector instead of the usual 5 or 6 pins. The PC is a fanless mini PC from 2017 with an Intel Core i5 7200U and 8GB of RAM. Any advice would be appreciated! (Also, I realized I mistakenly mentioned 8+10 pin in the title—it should be 8+18 pin.)

What you have is actually an mSATA drive, not M.2. If you check the sticker, it’ll confirm that. So, you’ll need to look for an mSATA compatible SSD for the upgrade.
Just to clarify, M.2 is the name of the slot, but this is an mSATA drive. So it won't work with typical M.2 NVMe drives.
Yep, it's definitely mSATA. That’s why it has the 8+18 pin setup. M.2 drives wouldn't fit in that slot at all. Just keep that in mind when you go for your upgrade!
