Is My PSU Compatible with My New RTX 5070 GPU?

I just got my hands on an RTX 5070 GPU and I'm wondering if my current power supply unit (PSU) will work with it. I know that newer graphics cards require the 12VHPWR connector, and my GPU came with an adapter that goes from 12VHPWR to 2x 6+2 pin connectors. The thing is, my PSU is semi-modular, and I need to check whether it has enough 6+2 pin outputs. The PSU I'm using is the Corsair TX750M, which is a 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold certified unit. After checking, I found out that it only has one 6+2 pin output. Although it seems to support two 6+2 pins on the same cable, I've heard that's not ideal for newer GPUs. Can anyone confirm if this setup will work or if I need a new PSU?

You should be fine with what you have! The RTX 5070 should work with your PSU, but keep an eye on how you're using the adapters. Just make sure not to overload the cable if you're using the single output for both pins. It should be okay for most use, but some prefer to err on the side of caution and get a PSU with more native connectors in the future.

Yeah, I agree! Just don't push the PSU too hard, and if you ever add more components, consider upgrading to a better PSU with more outputs.
