I'm gearing up for my first PC build/upgrade and could really use some advice from those with more experience. My main focus will be gaming, along with some video editing and multitasking (not streaming). Here's what I currently have:
* Intel Core i7-10700 (keeping this)
* 16 GB DDR4 RAM (keeping this)
* NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super (keeping this)
For the new parts, I'm considering the following purchases:
* Motherboard: MSI PRO B760M-A WiFi DDR4
* NVMe SSD: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1 TB
* Power Supply: Seasonic CORE V2 GX-650 80+ Gold
* Case: DIYPC S07 ATX Mid-Tower
The total should come to around $478 since I'm reusing some components. I want to ensure I'm making smart choices and not wasting money on any wrong parts, so I'd appreciate any feedback on my build!

If you're not upgrading your CPU and RAM, getting a new motherboard might not be necessary unless there’s something specific you need. It's kind of wasteful otherwise. That said, feel free to upgrade the other parts if that’s what you want!
Make sure to check if your CPU is compatible with that motherboard. It needs to be a 12th, 13th, or 14th generation Intel.

Yeah, I'm using a Dell Precision 3640 motherboard right now, and it's been okay for daily tasks. You're right about compatibility—my current setup works fine, so may not need to upgrade the motherboard after all.
