Hey everyone! I recently purchased two new cases for my PCs, but I noticed that the fifth fan at the bottom is facing outward, towards the front glass, instead of towards the GPU, like it appears in the product pictures. I've checked both cases and they have the same issue. I called customer service where I bought the cases, and they told me that the fans come like this, and it's a reverse fan that's installed properly, advising me not to unscrew it. However, I found some videos online of the same brand where that fan is facing the GPU instead. Am I being misled here? Any advice would be appreciated!

FYI, most fans aren't designed to blow air towards the glass unless they’re set up specifically for that purpose, which is usually not the case. So yeah, the advice you got sounds a bit sketchy to me. If there’s a clear airflow direction indicated on the fan itself, follow that!
It sounds like the fan is indeed installed incorrectly. Typically, if it's a standard fan, it should blow air towards the GPU, not the front glass. If it’s a reverse fan, you might want to check if it’s meant to cool the PSU area instead. However, seeing it face the glass seems off. You should definitely consider turning it around!
I completely agree! I’ve dealt with fans like this before, and it's definitely strange that they would send them out facing the glass. It's best to double-check and flip it if it’s blowing against the PSU shroud.

Exactly! I've seen plenty of builds where fans face the GPU. If you look online at setups, almost everyone has theirs set that way for optimal cooling.
