I'm currently using a PC with an MSI Bazooka B450 motherboard, a Ryzen 5 2600 processor, 16GB of RAM (4x4 GB at 2800MHz), and a GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM. I'm trying to decide whether I should upgrade components one by one or if it would be better to save my money until I can buy a completely new setup.

It really depends on your budget! If you have some funds to play with, you might not be stuck with your current setup. You could look at upgrading your CPU to something like the Ryzen 5 5600X or Ryzen 7 5700X, which would be a nice boost and won’t break the bank, especially since those are priced around £120-140. That said, consider how much you're willing to invest each time.
I think going for upgrades can definitely be worth it! You can find a decent CPU like the Ryzen 7 5700X combined with something like the Intel Arc B580 GPU for about £400 in total. That’s significantly less than a full new PC, which usually starts at about £700.

If you're contemplating parts, maybe sell your GTX 1060 for around £40 and upgrade to a secondhand RTX 4060. If the deals are right during Black Friday, you might even find a good price for the 5060!
