Intermittent Loss of IP Address on Desktops

I'm having trouble with my OptiPlex Micro 7010 desktops occasionally losing their IP address. When this happens, doing a simple 'ipconfig /renew' solves the issue temporarily. I've checked a variety of things to troubleshoot this:

- Network driver updates for the Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (17) I219-LM.
- Followed up on solutions from a community article about similar problems.
- Confirmed DNS is running on both the servers and clients.
- Both DNS servers are healthy and passed tests from dcdiag.
- Verified that the necessary DNS records are present.
- Network connectivity is solid; ping and tracert work just fine.
- No firewall policies are blocking DNS.
- DNS configuration on the clients includes both servers.

However, the event viewer logs show some warnings with event IDs 8038 and 1014 during these disconnects, indicating potential issues. I'm really stuck and would appreciate any guidance on this.

Have you checked the power settings for the NIC driver? Sometimes the computer may put the NIC to sleep to save power, which can cause it to miss automated renewal requests. You can try to uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" if that's an option.

These machines are running Windows 11, and I couldn't locate that setting for the Intel NIC. I updated the drivers, but I'm unsure if the power management tab is even there.
