I'm seeking advice on how to smoothly upgrade the SKU of a Public IP that's associated with a Virtual Network Gateway in Azure. My goal is to upgrade the PIP SKU while retaining the same IP address. If possible, I'd prefer to avoid having to recreate the gateway entirely. Has anyone gone through this process recently and can share the steps or best practices?

I've upgraded the SKU about a month ago. Just follow Microsoft's official guide and do the upgrades one by one; your IP address will remain unchanged. Each gateway took me around 20 minutes to complete. What SKU are you currently using for the VPN gateway? That might help narrow down the advice for the upgrade.
