Best GPU Options for 1080p Gaming at 165Hz

Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy a GPU soon, ideally during Black Friday sales. I currently have a 165Hz monitor and want to game at 1080p with ultra settings or at least high settings for the latest titles, aiming for around 120 FPS. My budget is mostly under €700, but I'm willing to stretch it a little if needed.

I've done some research and I'm considering these options:

1. RTX 4070
2. RTX 4070 SUPER
3. RTX 4060 Ti (16GB)
4. RX 7800 XT

Here are the specs of my system:

* CPU: Intel i5-10400F
* GPU: GTX 1660 Ti
* PSU: 700W 80+ Bronze
* Motherboard: MSI MS-7C89 (LGA1200)

I also have a specific requirement: the GPU must be strictly 2 slots thick since I have a separate network card using the 3rd PCIe slot. Which GPU would offer the best performance for the price and fit my setup?

For your budget, I'd suggest the RX 9070 XT, which you can get for around €600-630. This card performs really well, hitting about 180-200 FPS at 1440p. If you're sticking to 2 slots, check out the RTX 5070 12GB or the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, which are also good options.

Good point! But does it make sense to get a card that can do 180-200 FPS at 1440p if I'm playing at 1080p for 165Hz?

Hey! Just a heads up, the GPUs you're looking at seem to be outdated or overpriced. You might want to consider the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB instead. It's a solid choice and should perform well!

I actually asked an AI for recommendations and was shocked by the prices! But this RX 9060 XT is looking pretty good in comparison—thanks!
