Help! My New PC Won’t Connect to Wi-Fi

I recently built a new PC using the MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI motherboard, and I'm having trouble getting the Wi-Fi to work. During the Windows installation, I saw my home Wi-Fi network, but I couldn't connect. Now that the PC is running, I can't even find the network anymore, and I'm relying on my iPhone's hotspot. I tried downloading drivers from the MSI site, but they come in ZIP files and I don't know how to use them. My PC has a "RZ616 WI-FI 6E 160MHz" card installed, which says the drivers are up to date. I even installed something that has "AMD WIFI," but that didn't help either.

It's weird that you're only getting connection through your iPhone. If you have the antenna hooked up and it's still not working, maybe try resetting your network settings on the PC to see if that helps.

To get those ZIP files to work, you'll need to unzip them first. Just right-click the ZIP file and choose 'Extract All,' then open the folder that appears. Inside, you should see a setup file or a program to run. That should get your drivers installed!

This sounds so dumb but how do I actually unzip it? When I try, there are just a ton of files in there and I'm not sure what to do once I get that folder open.

If you're using your iPhone as a hotspot, make sure your Wi-Fi antenna wires are properly connected to the motherboard. Without those, the signal won't function well. Double-check that they're securely in place!
